The reason that the bike requires assembly is to protect it during shipment. Therefore, we are talking about assembling the front wheel, handle bar, seat etc. It is like assembling IKEA furniture! Instructions are provided, and generally takes 1-1.5 hours. Some customers take their bikes to a local bike shop for assembly (recommended).
